Domaine Luquet depuis 1878, founded by Benoît Luquet and Jacques Rollin in the 19th century, is a small family-run estate in Fuissé, Mâconnais. Since then, the Domaine has extended to encompass the key appellations of the Mâconnais. Today the Luquet family preside over 27 hectares of vineyards, including 40 to 90 year old vines in Fuissé and Solutré-Pouilly.
Grapes are hand-harvested to ensure only those in prime condition reach the winery. Domaine Luquet depuis 1878, produce classic Burgundian wines using a combination of cement and stainless steel tanks for fermentation to preserve the natural integrity of the fruit. The style is generous in fruit and flavour but balanced with the judicious use of French oak barrels to give hints of nutty complexity.
