The wine has a vibrant ruby red colour. The aromas are intense and complex full of jammy fruit, especially cherries and plums. It is flavoursome with good freshness thanks to the elevation of the vineyard and the high chalk composition in the marl soils. On the palate it is smooth and tannic and shows its potential to age. The intense fruit flavours include cherry jam. The finish is long and pleasant. The aftertaste has a clear sensation of sweet black cherries.
