Intense ruby red colour with tints of violet. On the nose, aromas of fresh black cherries and sweet vanilla are prominent. The palate offers rich tannins and pleasing glycerine. Flavoursome with good acidity, the palate is full with cherries and plum as well as black pepper and rhubarb.
